When Your Health Has Changed & You Want Answers
Evidence-based nutritional therapy & metabolic health coaching in Swindon, Wiltshire and online.
You know your health has changed.
You deserve to understand why!
You don’t need more conflicting advice, stricter rules or to blame yourself for not trying hard enough
I offer evidence-based nutritional therapy and metabolic health coaching for people who want to understand what has changed in their health - and what may be contributing.
My approach is about more than giving you a list of foods to eat or things to avoid. I look at the bigger picture of your health, listen to your individual story and help you make sense of the connections between your symptoms, health history, lifestyle and changing circumstances.
Many of the people I work with have been trying to do the right thing for years. They’ve followed advice, eaten what they believed was healthy, and still found themselves dealing with fatigue, cravings, changing weight, rising blood sugar, cholesterol concerns, thyroid issues, or simply feeling unlike themselves.
If that sounds familiar, I don’t believe the answer is more restriction or more willpower.
My role is to help you join the dots - looking at the wider picture of your health to understand what may be contributing to how you feel, what is most relevant to you, and where it makes sense to focus your attention first.
That might include blood sugar, metabolic health, hormones, thyroid function, nutrition, sleep, stress, strength, lifestyle or the changes that come with midlife and ageing.
The important thing is that we look at your individual picture, rather than applying the same advice to everyone.
Who I work with
I typically work with people who:
• Notice changes in energy, appetite or weight and are unsure why.
• Are experiencing insulin resistance, pre-diabetes, metabolic syndrome or thyroid-related concerns.
• Are peri- or post-menopausal and noticing shifts in how their body feels and responds.
• Are navigating their own health while also dealing with the changes and challenges of ageing or caring for a loved one.
• Feel overwhelmed by conflicting nutrition advice and don’t know what is actually relevant for them.
• Have tried to improve their health but still feel like something is missing.
• Want a food-first, evidence-based approach that takes the wider picture into account.
Who this is not for
This approach is not suitable if you are looking for:
-
A quick fix or short-term weight-loss programme.
-
A generic meal plan without exploring the bigger picture.
-
Someone to simply tell you what to eat without explaining why.
-
A one-size-fits-all approach.
My work is for people who want to understand their health, ask questions and take an active role in making informed decisions about what they do next.
Health & Metabolic Review
£175 | 90-minute consultation
If you’re tired of trying to piece things together yourself, this is where we step back and look at the bigger picture.
Before we meet, you’ll complete a detailed health questionnaire so I can understand your health history, symptoms, current circumstances and the changes you’ve noticed.
I’ll review this before your consultation so that our time together can focus on you - not on working through a generic checklist.
During your 90-minute consultation, we will:
Explore your health story
We’ll look at what has changed, what you’ve noticed, what you’ve already tried and what matters most to you.
Join the dots
We’ll explore the connections between your symptoms, health history, nutrition, metabolic health, hormones, lifestyle and the changes that can come with midlife and ageing.
Identify what may be contributing
Rather than assuming there is one simple cause, I’ll help you understand which factors may be relevant to your individual situation.
Prioritise
You’ll come away knowing what I believe is most important to focus on first - rather than leaving with a long list of things you feel you should change.
Create your next steps
Together, we’ll agree practical, personalised priorities that fit your circumstances and what you are ready and able to do.
After your consultation, you’ll receive:
A written summary of our consultation, so you have a clear record of what we discussed.
Your personalised health priorities
The areas I believe are most relevant to focus on and why.
A practical action plan
Clear next steps based on your individual circumstances, rather than a generic diet plan.
Clarity about what comes next
Where appropriate, this may include questions to discuss with your GP or other healthcare professional, further information to consider, or areas we can explore in future nutritional therapy work.
This is not a generic nutrition consultation
It is a chance to step back, make sense of the bigger picture and understand what may be relevant to you.
