A Different Approach

I support people navigating metabolic health challenges across midlife, ageing and caregiving.
This includes insulin resistance, menopause, blood sugar imbalance, low energy, appetite changes, and long-term healthy ageing.
Many of the people I work with have felt dismissed, left without clear answers and stuck managing symptoms (or caring for a loved one with symptoms) rather than understanding what is driving them.
My approach focuses on metabolic health - how blood sugar, hormones, stress and lifestyle interact to impact energy, appetite, cognition and long-term wellbeing.
Why this matters
Before becoming a Nutritional Therapist, I spent many years working in residential care management, supporting adults with complex health needs in real-world care settings.
Alongside this, I have also been carer for my grandma with dementia (in my early 20s), and in more recent years, my elderly parents. This has given me a personal understanding of the challenges families face when navigating ageing, health changes, and care decisions.
These experiences shaped how I view health today - not as isolated symptoms, but as interconnected systems that change across the lifespan, lifestyle, and care environments.
Alongside leading care teams, I also facilitated staff training and development, helping translate knowledge into practical action. That experience continues to influence how I work today - combining education, coaching and nutrition care to help people better understand their health and feel more confident in the choices they make.
They reinforced my belief that people deserve more than symptom management and sticking plaster care. Understanding your body can be empowering, and you should feel informed, supported and involved in decisions about your health.
My clinical focus
I specialise in metabolic health, including insulin resistance, blood sugar regulation, menopause, thyroid function, weight challenges, and low energy - with a particular focus on empowering healthy ageing and long-term resilience.

I live in Wiltshire with my husband, our grown-up son, and our dog Polly. Outside of my work, I love painting, singing (life is better as a musical), cycling and strength training, camping under the stars, and tracing my family tree.
If you're ready to stop questioning your body and start understanding it, I would love to support you.
